DescriptionThis collaborative effort is focused on developing tools and methodologies at the high-level abstraction (mostly RTL) to address four major attack surfaces, namely reverse engineering, malicious implants, supply chain, and side channel. Specific solutions include the development of a plug & play security engine (SE), security monitors, security IPs (PUFs, TRNGs, crypto hardware), logic locking, watermarking, and more. SE, as the root of trust, establishes secure communication with HOST, asset management infrastructure (AMI), and secure cloud. The solutions must optimize the PASS (power, area, speed, and security) metric.
