Tyler Kharazi is an incoming PhD student to UC Berkeley studying quantum chemistry. During his undergraduate studies at BYU, he majored in mathematics with a concentration in physics and participated in research in quantum mechanics. After graduating, he began work at Oak Ridge National Lab, where he researched topics in machine learning and quantum computing. Most recently, his research has been focused on scalable methods for characterizing the processes that occur on quantum computers.
