Gilles Sicard
Dr. Gilles SICARD received the PhD degree from the Grenoble Institute of technology in 1999, focused on a bio-inspired light adaptive system embedded in silicon retina pixels. From 1999 to 2014, he was an associate professor with the Joseph Fourier University (Microelectronic & Electronic design teacher) and TIMA Laboratory (Grenoble-France). His research work was mainly focused on smart CMOS image sensors through several collaborative projects and ten PhD students. In 2014, he joined CEA-LETI (Grenoble, France) as senior expert in the Image sensor and Display laboratory (L3I). He leads researches on smart imagers using emerging technologies and he is strongly involved in collaborative project building. Dr. Sicard is author or co-author of more than 100 papers in international conferences and journals.
