Weichen Liu received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2004 and 2006, and the Ph.D. degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, in 2011. He is a Nanyang Assistant Professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has authored and co-authored more than 120 publications in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and books. His research interests include embedded and real-time systems, many-core systems, electronic/photonic network-on-chip, machine learning acceleration, photonic computing, and in-memory computing.
