Dr. Xiaowei Xu is currently an assistant professor at Guangdong Cardiovascular institute (Top 3-4 in cardiovascular subject in China) of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital (Top 27 in China). He works at the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and 3D Technologies for Cardiovascular Diseases as a co-director. He received my Ph.D. degree and B.S. degree from the Department of Electronic Science and Technology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2016 and 2011. His research interests focus on AI for cardiovascular diseases including deep learning, and medical image processing. He has several papers about hardware optimization and deep learning on top conferences including CVPR, AAAI, MICCAI, MIDL, ISBI, DAC, ICCAD, and top-journals including TPAMI, TCAD, TBioCAS, Nature Electronics.
