Edwin Hsing-Mean Sha
Biography
Edwin Hsing-Mean Sha received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science, Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey, in 1992. From August 1992 to August 2000, he was in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana. Since 2000, he has been a tenured full professor at the University of Texas at Dallas. Since 2012, he served as the dean of the College of Computer Science, Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. He is currently a Distinguished Professor with East China Normal University, Shanghai, China. He has published more than 390 research papers in refereed conferences and journals. He received Teaching Award, Microsoft Trustworthy Computing Curriculum Award, NSF CAREER Award, and NSFC Overseas Distinguished Young Scholar Award, Chang-Jiang Honorary chair professorship and China Thousand-Talent Program. He is a senior member of the IEEE.
