Biography
Yao-Wen Chang received the B.S. degree from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan, in 1988, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX, USA, in 1993 and 1996, respectively, all in computer science. He is currently the Dean of the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Distinguished Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering, NTU. His current research interests include physical design and manufacturability for integrated circuits. He has co-edited one textbook on electronic design automation and co-authored one book on routing and over 300 ACM/IEEE conference and journal papers in the above areas.
