Brian Plancher is a Ph.D. candidate in Engineering Sciences with a focus in Robotics at Harvard University. His research interests are in developing and implementing algorithms for dynamic motion planning and control of complex, high dimensional robots by exploiting both the mathematical structure of algorithms and the design of computational platforms. Brian holds a B.A. in Computer Science and MEng in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University and is supported by the NSF GRFP.
Brian is also committed to improving the accessibility of STEM education. As such, he enjoys teaching and designing new interdisciplinary, project-based courses that lower the barrier to entry of cutting edge topics like TinyML.
