 vendor that created it with no replacement offering. This hardware a
 nd software system was at the core of the client’s busin
 ess, sorting and tracking packages as they were routed i
 n each of its U.S. sorting hubs. From warehouses to airports, each h
 ub presents a unique, extreme environment for this mission critical&
 #8239;equipment.   \n\nThe design team was quickly able to eng
 ineer and manufacture a new ruggedized tablet computer with touchscreen th
 at mounted to the existing infrastructure and linked&#82
 39;to the rest of the package tracking system with stabl
 e, long range Bluetooth connection.  \n\nThe harsh
  environmental conditions and complex functionality required using the tea
 m’s experience of designing mission critical edge comput
 ing devices for military and oil and gas markets. This included addr
